TEAMWORK

Run by a group of  German speakers in Milton Keynes, we aim to teach German through activities - we play games, invent new things, do arts & crafts, history and geography.

LEARNING

We strive to create a fun and stimulating environment. We want children to have fun and improve their German by using it actively and purposefully in reading, writing and speaking.

COMMUNITY

We want to create a community. We bring together children who share a common language. We show them that there's a world full of German speakers.

FUTURE

We aim to provide a bit of a head start. We want to give our students  the opportunity to take German language certifications, whether or not their school teaches German.

Groups & Tutors

The German Saturday School Milton Keynes was founded in 2019. We aim to teach children with existing knowledge of the German language. German as a foreign language is not being taught. We currently offer groups for ages 0-8 but aim to extend this to older children over the coming terms. During school hours, we aim to create a German speaking environment and therefore ask that any parents or carers present speak German where possible. We are OFSTED registered.

We operate as a not for profit organisation. Our fees are set at a level that allows us to cover costs such as room rent and insurance, as well as pay our tutors, teaching assistants and administrators a competitive market rate. Our goal is to be here for the long-term. Unspent funds will be reinvested into the school.
