About the Course

The A-level exam is an academic qualification that allows you to study certain subjects at universities. This exam is usually taken in year 13. Saturday school students usually take the A-Level German exam in Year 12 so that it does not overlap with the regular A-Levels in Year 13. This exam is demanding and not only requires very good knowledge of German, but also knowledge of and pleasure in the literature and history of the German-speaking countries. We only recommend the exam if the students are suitably motivated.

Students will have an additional A level which is recognized as a language subject at English universities, and also in universities in German speaking countries.
