We fly to Hamburg and explore the city and nearby Lübeck with its famous Niederegger marzipan factory! Cruising back to the UK from Kiel on the Queen Anne, we experience all the luxury we could ever wish for - and of course some fun grammar sessions :)
The Ship
Rooms
Oceanview or Balcony rooms with 2-3 single beds or one double bed, all with en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and Satellite flat screen TV.
Fitness centre, Mareel spa, pool deck with 2 swimming pools, 7 hot tubs, golf, beauty salon, ballroom, casinos, bars, restaurants, cafes and lounges and free afternoon tea every afternoon - all on board!!
Activities
Day 1 - Hamburg
Reeperbahn - if you want to meet the newly crowned honorary citizen Udo Lindenberg, come to the PANIK CITY with us for an unforgettable insight into his world.
Beach - we explore the Elbstrand in the Altona district and go to the Strandperle beach bar for a mocktail.
City centre - In the evening, we climb 452 steep steps to the top of the Nachtmichel, the largest tower clock in Germany, and enjoy magnificent views over Hamburg. At exactly 9 pm, the tower musicians will perform for us :)
Day 2 - Lübeck We visit the Marzipan Museum at Café Niederegger with life-sized marzipan sculptures of famous figures, and of course lots of tasty treats to try!
Day 3 - Kiel

We visit Kielline where you can watch the seals play and learn about the underwater world at the small aquarium. We then set off to the high seas in our Queen Anne!
Day 4 - Skagen, top of Danmark We stand at the spot where the North Sea and Baltic Sea meet — a surreal experience with swirling tides and panoramic views. We get our feet sandy at Råbjerg Mile, Denmark's largest shifting dune, just a stone's throw from Skagen.
Day 5 - Cruising, German grammar session and life on board

Meals and soft drinks are included at the restaurants on the Queen Anne.
Shopping
Plenty of shopping opportunities in Hamburg, Lübeck and Kiel, and on board!
Costs
Ca. £ per person *Three meals per day, soft drinks and activities on board are included. Excluding travel insurance (around £20), excursions and tips.
*The cruise will be booked live and the price will vary, and is expected to increase over time. Our overheads for the organisation of the week are already included in the costs.

Language
You will need at least B1-level German to take part. This week is for German students who want to improve their grammar and other German language skills. There will be lots of opportunities to learn and use German! Special daily grammar practise included.
This week is also for German teachers who would like new ideas and input for their grammar lessons. Daily grammar workshops included!
