Celebrate the lightest day in the year with us!! Big bonfire, BBQ, football, torch walk, cakes, waffles and ice cream from the German Bakery UK. With special guests Ryan West & Fino Lopes 🎷 The Sommerfest is a unique event bringing together German speaking families from all over the UK and beyond.

About the event
We are celebrating the lightest day of the year with a big bonfire and BBQ, Bratwurst and Bier, and of course our traditional football match Germany against England. Enjoy German Kuchen and ice cream from the German Bakery UK - and as many Herzwaffeln mit Erdbeeren as a you can eat for free :)
Our special guests this year are Ryan West & Fino Lopes with jazzy sax and guitar tunes at sunset and into the night!
Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with German speakers from far and near, bounce away in the football sports arena, or play a game of Cornhole with your friends. Special Dino Park for the little ones!
Join us on our traditional midnight torch walk and gather around the fire until the early hours. If you would like to stay overnight - just bring your tent!

Help us set up on Thursday 19th or Friday 20th June, or help on the day of the Sommerfest for (2h help required), and get a free pass! You will need to be available for a Sommerfest zoom meeting on Monday 16th June, 8pm!
