About Us
Sprachgarten is a lovingly designed learning space for bilingual children growing up with German. In a playful and creative environment, we nurture language skills, cultural awareness, and social development with plenty of fun and movement.
Our classes are tailored for children aged 0 to 6 years, divided into two age groups:
🌼 Gänseblümchen (0 - 3 years):
Together with a parent or carer, our youngest learners explore the German language through songs, rhymes, and crafts.
🌻 Sonnenblumen (4 - 6 years):
With stories, role-play, and creative activities, children expand their vocabulary and develop confidence in speaking German, naturally and joyfully.
💜 Veilchen (7 - 10 years):
Through engaging projects, games, and interactive activities, children deepen their language skills, build confidence in speaking and understanding German, and connect more closely with German culture.
OUR FOUNDER
Franziska Collier
Franziska runs Sprachgarten Sheffield and teaches German at the local University. With a Master’s in German as a Foreign Language and Goethe certification, she brings both expertise and personal experience as a trilingual parent to create a fun, welcoming space for children.
