German Kindergarten
LANGTONS

About

About

The German Kindergarten Langtons is a small and friendly group with children from 3 to 6 years. We spend a lot of time outside in the garden, in the field and in the nearby forest. There are squirrels, snowdrops, blackberries and foxes, and there also lives a witch in the forest - but it's supposed to be a nice one :)

Our three spacious rooms are often transformed into different worlds and we then have to fight the dragon Fridolin, feed the elephants in the zoo, or hide in an Inuit igloo.

The language is always German, and the aim is for the children to develop a German-speaking relationship with one another. We learn the language through songs, games and role-play and just by being together.

Our lunch often comes fresh from our vegetable garden and everyone helps to prepare it. For dessert we just pick a few berries, which are often eaten before they even get to the table. We always discuss with the parents beforehand whether there are any special needs or allergies - we can adapt to everything!

We only have a few  places in the Langtons' German Kindergarten, so please register early, we are very quickly fully booked!

OUR TEAM

Marianne Siegfried-Brookes

Marianne has been running the Langton's German Kindergarten since 2010. She is a trained teacher and has raised two bilingual children of her own. It is important to her that the children in the German Kindergarten can learn and grow holistically, and she always knows how to create the perfect environment for their learning. No two days are the same at the Kindergarten, we never get bored :)
